My brother Joe

Joe is my oldest brother, the most sarcastic and with the most acerbic wit.  He also has a huge heart and feels things so deeply he can not speak of them.  When I tell him I love him he responds with “ditto.” This always makes me laugh.

Many of you know he suffered from a  massive tear in his aorta this past weekend.  Each day would bring new horrible discoveries about his condition.  Yet amazingly he has survived these few days.  However, now it looks as if some impossible decisions must be made.  Please hold Nancy (wife), Colleen (daughter) and John (son) in your thoughts and prayers.  I know they will do what Joe would want.  But it is an impossible thing to make someone do.  Simply impossible.

I pray for Mercy and Grace at this time.
